Vega Wizard exists because most explanations of derivatives are written for people who already understand derivatives. That's a strange way to teach anything, and it leaves a lot of genuinely curious people feeling like this topic just isn't for them.

It isn't a mystery, and it definitely isn't only for people on a trading floor. It's a set of ideas that build on each other, and once you've got the basics, the rest starts to click into place a lot faster than you'd expect. That's what this site is trying to be: the slow, patient version — analogies before formulas, plain English before jargon.

Alongside the lessons, you'll find a small library of books and a watchlist of films and documentaries. They're here for the same reason: sometimes a story lands a concept better than a definition does.
